Universal Design & Higher Education in Transformation Congress

From 30 October to 05 November, the Technological University for Dublin Alliance partners DIT, IT Blanchardstown and IT Tallaght; the Centre for Excellence in Universal Design; and Canadian partners University of Ontario Institute of Technology and Durham College are hosting a four day Universal Design & Higher Education in Transformation Congress at The Printworks, Dublin Castle. 

This exciting four day event will bring together key experts from industry, education, government and non-government organisation sectors to share experiences and knowledge with all participants. This congress aims to transform our world through celebrating and integrating all that is good in design, diversity and education. 

The opening plenary session will include speakers such as Jaime Casap, a Google Education Evangelist and Sinead Burke @SineadBurke who has been making an impact on the worlds stage talking about inclusive design and has recently been appointed as Contributing Editor at Vogue. Other keynote speakers from the USA, Canada and Europe will cover topics such as the Built Environment; Urban Design and Planning; Institutional Design and Transformation; and Curriculum Development.
